Last August 24, the first live public event with the Wilkins Health Circle Community was held at Glorietta 2, Makati City. The Wilkins Health Circle Family Day event focused on family wellness, health, parenting tips, and hydration.
Together with a medical expert, pediatrician Dr. Lou Ver Leigh Manzon-Reyes, and beloved celebrity couple and parents Iya Villania-Arellano and Drew Arellano, the event’s program centered on managing the family’s mental wellness from pregnancy to toddlerhood. Mental wellness, in addition to physical wellness, is a crucial factor in the overall health of one’s family.
As one of the main goals of Wilkins Health Circle is to establish a supportive community for families by providing helpful resources, wellness tips, and expert advice – medical professionals’ recommendations are key. During the program, guest pediatrician Dr. Lou Ver Leigh reiterated that a way to help one’s body stay healthy is by regularly hydrating with clean drinking water.
On discussing their parenthood journey with their children, the Arellanos shared stories about their pregnancies and experiences with raising their toddlers. Public attendees had a fun family day filled with wellness, engaging booths, games, prizes, and Wilkins products and merchandise! With health partner KonsultaMD, attendees got the chance to consult with doctors about pregnancy and mental wellness at the Wilkins Wellness Hub. Families also had fun playing a game about nutrition and they enjoyed Foodpanda’s exclusive discounts and vouchers from partners Foodpanda as well as Edamama, the popular e-commerce platform for parenting, baby, and household products. The event was attended too by parenting communities, parenting influencers, and media publications.
