Security Bank unveiled its newest credit card product, the Security Bank Wave Mastercard, at an exclusive product launch at The Island at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City. Brand ambassadors Solenn Heussaff and Erwan Heussaff were there to highlight the unique features that make this more than just an average no-annual-fee credit card.

Named with an intentional play on words, the Security Bank Wave Mastercard waves goodbye to annual fees, restrictive interest rates, and unsustainable materials.

Security Bank launched its new Wave Mastercard credit card on February 5, 2024 at The Island at The Palace. “At Security Bank, we’re always looking for innovative ways to deliver on our BetterBanking promise, providing the best banking and customer service experiences. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Security Bank Wave Mastercard, a credit card designed to meet the needs and preferences of today’s savvy, budget and environmentally conscious customers,” said Sanjiv Vohra, President and CEO of Security Bank.

Customers can enjoy an interest rate of only 2.5%—one of the lowest among credit cards in the Philippines. The Wave Mastercard also rewards customers with 1% cashback on all online purchases including shopping, dining, and travel, to name a few.

These benefits make the Wave Mastercard a lifestyle companion that helps customers save money, earn rebates, and protect the environment. Featuring a dynamic wave design, the Wave Mastercard isn’t only visually appealing—but designed to meet the growing demand for eco-conscious commerce.

“One of the most unique aspects of the Security Bank Wave Mastercard is that it’s our first credit card made of 100% recycled PVC, as certified by the ICMA Ecolabel Standard,” said Rahul Rasal, EVP and Retail Banking Segment Head. “We’ve curated benefits that align with what our customers want. Simply put, our Security Bank Wave Mastercard is far more than just a no-annual-fee credit card.”
