The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) strengthens the bond of church members in a reaffirmation of commitment to exemplify the life and teachings of Jesus Christ during a press conference in Makati this August 10. The church also fortifies its partnerships with organizations that share their goal of spreading hope to the Filipino people.

The reaffirmation is in anticipation of the church’s International Convention, and Golden Anniversary Celebration on August 27 at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium in Capas, Tarlac, where hundreds of representatives from PMCC (4th Watch)’s local churches in more than 71 countries are expected to attend. This celebration will both honor their church’s past and look forward to their future, as expressed in their celebration’s theme: “Celebrating the Past. Fortifying the Present. Expanding the Future.”

Deputy Executive Minister Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol emphasizes the value of togetherness in attaining their goal of sharing the Gospel to the world.

“The message of Jesus’s life and ministry is universal. His life of service and humility knows no barriers, and everyone can follow His example of servitude. This universal message allowed us to expand our presence around the world,” he said.

Bishop Ferriol saw firsthand the growth of their church overseas, pastoring the PMCC (4th Watch)’s churches in the United States for over 25 years and currently serving as the Regional Overseer of the churches in North America. In line with his designation as Deputy Executive Minister to Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, he also oversees the development of over 1,000 local churches in 80 countries.

“Our brethren from around the world are integral to spreading our message across borders, the way the message of the Gospel has spread throughout the world. They have organized local outreach activities which are part of our national programs, and encouraged people, especially those who have yet to be introduced to the Word of God, to open their hearts to Jesus Christ, and they are doing so by example,” Bishop Ferriol explained.

Apart from its global presence, PMCC (4th Watch) has also solidified partnerships with local government units and non-government organizations, as showcased during its recent outreach activities. In July, the church organized a Nationwide Bloodletting Activity in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and a Grand Medical Mission with the local government units of Marikina, Cavite, Laguna, Romblon, and Bacolod. Similar outreach efforts were also conducted throughout the world in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other parts of Asia.

Thousands of Filipinos in these communities received a variety of medical, dental, and optometry services during the outreach programs, according to PMCC (4th Watch). For Bishop Ferriol, these partnerships have helped them in their commitment to contribute to the betterment of underserved communities in the Philippines.

“We established these partnerships because we believe these organizations can help us reach a broader audience and serve those in need in these communities. We know that these organizations have the credibility and expertise in getting our message across, and we recognize that we serve a common purpose: to contribute to the improvement of our communities,” he explained.

As PMCC (4th Watch) gears up for its Golden Anniversary Celebration, Bishop Ferriol reminded their members that this milestone is not simply a moment of self-congratulation. “We are reflecting on the past five decades of resolute dedication to spreading the gospel worldwide. It serves as a reminder of our responsibility to give back to the community with whom we have had the pleasure of sharing God’s goodness over the years,” he said.
