Last week, we had a wonderful afternoon with Meralco’s Tito Joe and tito Jeffrey. They shared some good news especially for us moms, power rates are much lower now compared to other months. Plus, when it comes to disaster awareness, Meralco response team is now faster in restoring electricity especially when there are typhoons.

Tito Jeffrey Tarayao, President of One Meralco Foundation, shared beautiful stories as they goes extra mile to provide sustainable source of energy to schools in remote villages and hard-to-reach island communities. The latest campaign, “Light Up Pilipinas” spread the light to different communities especially to an isolated and rural  areas here in the Philippines. Recently, they completed the distribution of solar lights to residents of 10 indigenous communities in Bukidnon last July 25 to 29 – reaching a total of 720 solar lights distributed in the province. Thank you Meralco for bringing the light to our fellow kababayans.
