Hyundai Home Appliances Philippines just unveiled their complete lineup of products recently. The South Korean Megabrand held its event at Shangri-La Plaza, an event that melded the essence of Korean and Filipino home living. The event brought out the charm and hominess of its appliances through the use of elaborate visuals that evoked a sense of familiarity with everyday real life situations in “K-Drama” fashion.

Though the atmosphere and the visuals were the things most unique about the event, let’s talk about the real highlight: the product lineup.

Each appliance had their spotlight, where they were placed in their appropriate home settings. You could find the stove, microwave, grill and table blender in the kitchen segments, AC in the bedroom and TV in the living room. The pièce de résistance, however, was the unveiling of the TrueFRESH No Frost Inverter+ Refrigerator.

The newest refrigerator features Hyundai’ Home’s No Frost technology to eliminate manual frost removal, ensuring superior cooling quality and longer-lasting freshness. With the Inverter+ technology, users benefit from up to 50% energy savings, a 5-star energy efficiency rating, and low noise operation. The ActivCool Airflow System and OxyFresh Filters further enhance cooling performance and freshness preservation.

Additionally, Hyundai introduced its new front load washing machine and the Flip Burner gas stove. The front load washing machine combines efficiency with sleek design, while the Flip Burner gas stove with high performance flame adjusters is the only stove in the market that features burners that can be flipped over for easy maintenance and cleaning.

The event was a sensory delight, with visuals and scenarios so lovingly aware of the tropes that made the Korean lifestyle very popular to the Filipino. It was only appropriate to blend them together to get the most out of both cultures. “Cozy living” was the main takeaway, and surely Hyundai Home’s event was a sign of potentially cozier times to come.
