The book “Firestopping in Buildings” is co-authored by Engr. Kamalika Kundu, Regional Codes and Approval Manager at Hilti Asia Pacific Pvt. Ltd. located in Singapore, and Engr. Joanna Gatus, Codes and Approval Manager at Hilti Philippines Inc. It provides in-depth information on the concept of firestopping – building applications, standards for performance assessment, and criteria for selection, installation, and inspection. Endorsed by Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine Integrated Fire Protection Organization (PIFPO), the book is a valuable resource providing relevant materials on passive fire protection for the whole life cycle of a building.
